About Morris House

Built in 1893 alongside Lawrence House, Morris is a charming ivy-covered brick house with a piano, pool table, and large front porch with an old-fashioned swing. Named for Kate Morris, one of Smith's original eleven graduates and the first recipient of a doctorate from the institution in 1889. Houses 68 students.
