About Duckett House
Built around 1810 and joined the Smith residential system in 1968, Duckett accommodates 40 students five minutes from classes and downtown. Named for Eleanor Shipley Duckett, a Classical Languages professor, it adjoins Chase House (named for her longtime companion Mary Ellen Chase). The house hosts seasonal cocktail parties.
