About Tenney House
The only vegetarian cooperative house on campus, Tenney traditionally maintains a lengthy waitlist. The 14-person household follows a work wheel for daily cooking and cleaning and is known for its annual faculty dinner featuring homemade breads. Named for Mary Smith Tenney, who envisioned it as affordable housing for meritorious students; relocated to 156 Elm Street in 1937.
